COUNSELLING - online

«Then came the day when the risk to remain in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.»  -  Anaïs Nin

When everything feels like too much—when life seems to overflow or when it’s been stuck in a loop for a long time—it can be helpful to make space: for what is currently alive in your life, as well as for what may have become still or even lifeless.

In my sessions, you can expect a compassionate, open space—without judgment, without criticism—where you can simply be.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, incorporating your body and emotions is also a central part of our work. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, compulsions, addiction, or with loss and grief: you are welcome. If you embark on this journey with me, you’ll find yourself on a path that leads you—beyond mind and body—into your heart. I work process-oriented, gestalt-therapeutically, and mindfulness-based.

At the moment, I offer online counseling, so you can take part comfortably from home. Sessions are available in German and English.

In the initial consultation, we’ll get to know each other. You can tell me what brought you to therapy.

EMERGENCY
If you are experiencing current assaults, severe mental illness or suicidal thoughts, please contact your local specialist services or helpline immediately. Thank you.

Counsellor vs Psychiatrist

A psychiatrist has studied medicine at undergraduate level. He is therefore able to make medical diagnoses, issue medical certificates and prescribe medication. Psychiatrists are recognised by the health insurance companies.

As a counsellor, I have completed a three and a half year training as a body-centred psychological counsellor. I do not have a medical degree and therefore do not have the authority of a doctor. Counsellors cannot currently be billed by health insurance companies. I reserve the right to request the cooperation of a psychiatrist for clients with severe psychological problems or to refer them to a psychiatric clinic for further treatment.
